Black Pine Essential Oil
Pinus nigra, known as Black Pine, spreads over Balkans, South Carpathian mountains, Crimean, Turkey, Cyprus and Syria. Black Pine has dark green and hard needle-leave, and thick peels [1].
Black Pine essential oil generally contains monoterpene (alpha-Pinene, beta-Pinene, Limonene) and sesquiterpene (Germacrene-D) compounds [2].
It has strong analgesic, antibacterial, antifungal, antiseptic, antiviral and anti-inflammatory activities.
