Milk Thistle Seed Oil
Silybum marianum, native to the Mediterranean and North African regions, is an upright herb that can grow to be 2 metres tall. It has spiny edges, dark-green leaves and of red-purple colour [1].
Milk Thistle Seed oil is obtained from the seeds of the plant by cold pressing method. The major fatty acids found in the oil are linoleic and oleic acid. Milk Thistle extracts have a high amount of silymarin which has very strong antioxidant effects. Milk Thistle Seed reduces oxidative stress and also protects liver cells from damage. In addition, It is rich in sterols, minerals and trace elements – Magnesium, Zinc, Selenium and Manganese. It is effective in treating liver disease, such as cirrhosis [2,3].

This oil is edible and also excellent for hair and skin.
This oil is suitable for all skin types, ideally suitable for oily and acne-prone skin.
