Pumpkin Seed Oil
Cucurbita pepo, natural spreading area of which is Anatolia, is an important plant rich in valuable nutrients.
Pumpkin oil is obtained from the seeds of Cucurbita pepo by cold pressing method. The major fatty acid compositions of Pumpkin Seed oil are linoleic, oleic, stearic and palmitic acid. Besides this, the oil is rich in secondary metabolites including tocopherols, alkaloids, phenolic acids, flavonoids and carotenoids. Pumpkin Seed oil has important biological activities and therapeutic potential such as antihypercholesterolemic, antihypertensive, antiparasitic, antitumor, anticarcinogenic and antibacterial [1,2,3].

Pumpkin Seed oil can be used alone or blended with your other favorite base oil.
This oil is edible and also excellent for hair and skin.
This oil is suitable for all skin types, ideally suitable for dry, dull, or mature skins.
Topically, It is used in cosmetic and massage applications with its softening, nourishing, regenerating, antioxidant, and soothing effects. It acts as an anti-aging agent and helps maintain the skin’s elasticity and suppleness due to its vitamin E, Omega-6 and Omega-9 content.
This oil is ideal for dry, dull or fragile hair.
Suggested Uses:
Add to a 30 ml bottle: 15 ml Sweet Almond oil, 10 ml Pumpkin Seed oil and Laurel Berry oil, 3 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil, 2 drops Fine Lavender essential oil and 3 drops Rosemary essential oil, then shake to mix well. Use this serum as a hair conditioner. Apply serum on your scalp and hair. Gentle massage with fingertips using a circular motion, 20 minutes to a couple of hours prior to a hair wash.
